Hey everyone, Adam here. Older brother at SEO Brothers. In Today’s video we’re going to wrap up our Link Profile month with a quick video on identifying low hanging fruit link opportunities.

There’s no double that you can invest a significant amount of time and energy into acquiring high quality links on a consistent basis. However, if you’ve never done any sort of link building in the past, it’s likely that you can acquire some decent links without having to exhaust yourself too much.

Let’s cover the four link sources you need to pay attention to.

#1 – Your competitors’ link profiles. We’ve touched briefly on this in a previous video, but looking at the links that your competitors have – especially the shared links between multiple competitors.

If multiple competitors share the same links that you don’t have, it’s likely they are fairly easy to acquire and should be further investigated.

#2 – “Our Sponsors.” If you’ve sponsored local sporting events or other events in your industry, see if they add a link from their website to your business. Often times these will be no-follow links, but depending on the sponsorship it’s possible they may be do-follow links.

#3 – Local link sources. Are you a member of a local mastermind, chamber or business association? Do they list their members on their website? It shouldn’t take too long to find some local link sources from within your local business community. For extra help identifying local link sources you can review the link profiles of other businesses in your local market that are not in your industry and see if there are any common local link sources.

#4 – Industry link sources. Are there any national industry associations you are a part of? Maybe community-based sites within your industry? Do you contribute (or want to contribute) to any industry new websites. For extra help in identifying some of these link sources, you can look at similar businesses in other major cities across the country to see if they have any common industry links.

So those are the four areas for low hanging fruit link opportunities. Your competitors link profiles, local link sources, industry link sources, and any sponsorship opportunities.

I’m going to end things here today and this will wrap up our link profile month here in March. Next month I’m going to take a little pause from our typical format and I’m going to share a little bit of the behind the scenes here at SEO Brothers. We’ve recently done a series of videos to help tell our story and shed light on what it’s like to work with the SEO brothers – so that will be the direction for the next month.

While we prepare to get back into more SEO-related content for May, we’re also going to be starting our first season of a podcast – but more details will follow on that.

It’s hard to believe that Q1 is already coming to an end – hopefully it was a prosperous one for everyone.

I hope everyone is having a great day and we’ll see you all next week.
