405% organic traffic lift for a Colorado pediatric therapy practice
Subject: Pediatric therapy and ABA practice · 6 months
Sessions and tracked leads, normalized to each peak
Pediatric therapy and applied behavior analysis services involve a long, anxiety-loaded consideration cycle. Parents research a provider extensively, often during a window of acute need, and they search for very specific service terms.
The practice was based in Western Colorado with a service area extending across the broader regional valley. At launch, core ABA and behavioral health terms were ranking outside the top 70, which is functionally invisible during the few weeks a parent is actively comparing providers.
Audit findings
[Specific cities and competitor positions redacted at the partner’s request.]
Core ABA terms buried outside position 70. No dedicated service pages for the discrete therapy types: ABA, speech, occupational, physical, and behavioral. Geographic targeting was limited to the immediate community.
What we shipped
Months one and two were technical foundation work and a service page rebuild, with each therapy type getting its own page written for the parent who already knows what they need. Months three and four were content depth, E-E-A-T signals (provider authority, compliance, evaluation processes), and link work. Months five and six were the inflection point, with the final month delivering 470 sessions, the campaign high.
Outcome
Traffic moved from 93 monthly organic sessions to 470, a 405% lift over six months. Ten priority terms climbed dramatically, including “applied behavior analysis [city]” from #79 to #3 and several autism-evaluation terms reaching #1.
Tracked GA4 leads grew from 3 a month at launch to 33 in the best month, totaling 93 across the campaign. Healthcare categories with long consideration cycles tend to plateau early and then re-accelerate as authority compounds. Month-six traffic at the campaign high is the signal we look for.
