Choosing your rank tracker is now a toggle beside the project list
The rank tracker choice moved out of the project list and into a toggle next to it. Underneath, our crawl learned to see links a page carries in script, and our directory reader learned to get through doors that used to refuse it.
One change on the surface today. The rest of the day went into how our agents read a page they do not own, and how we rehearse an agent before it touches anything real.
For our partners
Keyword Tracking now has a two-sided toggle beside the project list: track with the platform, or track with your own rank tracking tool. The list of projects appears only on the tool side, and it only ever shows your projects.
Flipping the toggle saves nothing by itself. The change lands when you press Link or Change, and changing a saved link still asks you to confirm first. The roll-up counts the two kinds of client separately, so you can see at a glance which are tracked where.
Behind the scenes
- An orphan page finding now says when the only route to a page is a link carried in script rather than an ordinary one.
- Our citation reader drives a real browser, so directory pages that used to refuse us answer.
- Proposal options are built from the partner’s own packages, and no option may drop a process.
- Agents can be rehearsed on a copy, woken exactly the way the platform wakes them.
1. Links a crawler cannot follow
Some page builders make a card clickable by storing the link in a script and attaching a click handler, leaving no ordinary link on the page. A crawler follows ordinary links, so those pages read as orphans while anyone looking at the site can plainly click through to them. The crawl now records script-carried links as their own kind, the orphan finding says when a page is reached only that way, and the agent reading the page sees the same note. The conclusion usually still stands, because search engines follow ordinary links too. It can now be argued with, which is the point.
2. Reading pages that do not want to be read
Our reader works through an ordered set of routes and now reaches for the slow, costly ones only when a page has actually been refused, a tightening we made the same day after watching the first live batch. Company pages on a large professional network are readable for the first time. Every address an audit considers is kept on record with the reason it was read or skipped, so we can see what our own filters throw away.
3. Options are packages
An agent drafting a proposal invented two tiers that did not exist, priced just above the shelf. Now the options are the partner’s packages, a hand-built option needs a stated reason from the intake, and no option, custom or not, may quietly leave out one of the processes.
