Ask a question on a ClickUp task and the answer comes back there
Tagging a task in ClickUp now opens a conversation with our support team, and our reply posts back as a comment on that task. The separate meeting recorder connection and the Meetings page are retired.
Most of today went underneath, into how support work is tracked and how an agent is allowed to touch a live website. On the surface there is one new way to reach us and one page fewer.
For our partners
If your team works out of ClickUp, you can now ask us a question there. Tag a task with your question tag (or move it to your question status) and it opens as a conversation with our support team, with the task itself as the way back to it. We post a line on the task so you know it landed, your comments on the task join the conversation as you add them, and the answer arrives as a comment on the task when we write back. Turn it on from the ClickUp settings in your workspace.
When the task sits in a client’s list, what you wrote also reaches the agent that keeps that campaign’s notes, so the question and the work on it stay in the same place.
The separate meeting recorder connection and the Meetings page are retired. Recorded calls now appear on the relationship timeline from the review we already run after a call, so there is one record of a conversation instead of two.
Behind the scenes
- Support work now hangs off the conversation rather than the individual promise.
- A new agent reads website change requests and makes the edit, and no agent can move a live site.
- A campaign’s content allowance is one number with the page types counted inside it, so the types can never add up to more than what was sold.
- The content planner plans whatever a campaign is scoped for, in the counts it was scoped for, rather than assuming blog posts.
1. The conversation is the record
A call that ends with six things agreed used to become six separate items, each chased and closed on its own. A partner does not experience six promises. They experience one conversation and one reply. Now the call, the email thread, the pasted notes or the ClickUp task is the record, with the work listed underneath it, and it stays open until every piece is done and someone has actually written back. Whoever owns it hears when it is ready to send.
2. Publishing stays a person’s decision
The website agent can read a site, make the change it was asked for and show it on the preview address. It cannot move the live site. A publish from an agent is held, and the live version changes only when a person presses publish, or when that permission is granted to an agent deliberately and on purpose. We rehearsed the whole path on a demo site before letting it near anything real.
4. Planning what was sold
After repeated rehearsal runs on real campaign scopes, the planner now handles geo pages, service pages and blog posts in whatever mix the campaign carries.
