Blog posts and geo pages are written by dedicated writer agents

Content drafts now come from brief-writer, writer and QA agents. Tasks hand between teams rather than people, published URLs can be recorded from the editor, and cancelling a client winds the campaign down properly.

Content writing changed hands today, and a client’s exit got the same care as its entrance.

For our partners

  1. Written content on full campaigns now comes from agents rather than a single automated step: a brief-writer, a writer and a QA reviewer. You see the same review flow, with a brief you can read on the piece.
  2. Leaving active is now either a pause or a cancellation, both schedulable, and cancelling winds the campaign down.
  3. Tasks hand between sides, not people. The assignee options are your team or our team; individual names and avatars no longer appear in your task lists.
  4. The New task form offers Website edit, Business Profile edit and Research, since content, links and citations are born from planning, and the Request task button is gone.
  5. A task waiting on approval cannot change status for anyone; the decision is the only lever, and Request changes is how you say no to work you do not want.
  6. The content editor’s Publishing card now carries Mark as published, so anyone on your team can record where a piece went live, whoever holds the task.

1. Writer agents

Once a plan is approved, a brief-writer agent writes the brief onto each piece. When the piece is due, a writer agent writes the draft from that brief, never ahead of it. A QA reviewer agent checks the draft, saves its notes on the version, and submits it for your review.

2. Cancelling a client

Keyword tracking is paused rather than deleted (history kept, resumes if the client comes back), open work due after the cancellation date is cancelled with a note, work owed before it is kept, monitoring and reporting switch off, and client logins are revoked.

Behind the scenes

Operations grew by five tabs: Site Monitoring (crawl score and one dot per monitoring category, fleet-wide, worst first), Campaign Agents (on or off, and what would run), Platform Issues (one list of open and addressed alerts and agent escalations), Campaign Offboarding (a wind-down checklist per cancelled campaign) and Team Activity.

For the book of agencies moving onto the platform, document links our team attached to open tasks come across as comments on the task, and campaign start dates come from the original onboarding date rather than the day of the move.
