A Sunday of connector releases and a quieter task queue

Nothing changed on partner screens. The WordPress connector learned to clone blocks, change heading levels and move sections, and the staff task queue now lists only work that is ready to start.

Behind the scenes

1. Connector 2.2.0 and 2.3.0 were built inside real on-page tasks, one limitation at a time.
2. The connector installer now handles more of what real hosts throw at it, and refuses to install when the login on file points at a different site than the client’s (a staging copy).
3. The staff task queue no longer lists tasks with a pending approval request, in the open queue or on Upcoming. Pending Approvals is where those are followed up, and its plan rows now show how many pieces each plan carries.

Link insertion takes a context phrase, so when an anchor repeats on a page the agent names the sentence instead of widening the anchor. The page outline reports children counts, device visibility and background images, and every element can be named exactly, so a block can be cloned with its design, a heading’s level changed with its look pinned, and a top-level section moved, on Elementor, the block editor, classic pages, Divi and WPBakery. Bench-checked before release.

2. The installer

It gets through security check pages that clear themselves in a browser, admin email prompts, custom two-factor screens, passwordless login switches, and maintenance mode after an upload. Installs now happen case by case as tasks need them.
