Plugin changes on a live site now undo themselves if the site goes down
Report charts give their labels room on every card. Behind that, changes we make through our connector now carry a safety net that puts a site back the way it was if a plugin or theme change stops it answering.
Most of today went into the work that happens on someone else’s server: making it safer to change a live site, and making our daily page checks report edits instead of noise. One visible change in reports.
For our partners
Report charts give their left-hand labels a wider gutter. Values like 1.5K, $1,500 and 100% now sit inside the card instead of pressed against its edge, on every chart in the report: daily traffic and conversions, impressions, the two six-month trends, keywords, calls, ads, AI visibility. The plot areas are the same size as before, so the charts read exactly as they did, without the crowding.
Questions from our agents land in your asks once each. If an agent had to repeat itself while filing one, you see a single question rather than a copy of it.
Behind the scenes
- Page monitoring now reports edits rather than widgets redrawing themselves, and every campaign with monitoring on watches the website’s main page.
- Plugin and theme changes made through our connector can undo themselves, and risky site work is confined to Eastern business hours.
- What a teammate notices while working on a site is filed as an escalation and triaged the same way an agent’s is, instead of landing on a personal list.
- For franchise sites where each location lives at a path on one shared domain, keyword map imports and ranking pages stay inside that location’s section.
1. Quieter page monitoring
The daily check compares what a page says today against what it said yesterday. Review carousels, post lists and form fields that redraw on every render were changing that text without anyone editing anything. The comparison now sets those regions aside before it looks for differences, and keeps them when they are substantially the whole page, as on a reviews page or a gallery. Replayed against a stored set of real before-and-after captures, what used to be dozens of records became fourteen, every one an actual edit: a title, opening hours, a zip code, a service dropped from a list. A page that starts redirecting is now reported as a redirect, not as a page that went empty.
2. A safety net under plugin changes
Page edits through our connector have always had one-step undo. Plugin and theme changes did not, and a plugin that stops a site answering takes the undo down with it. The connector now installs a small file that loads ahead of every plugin, so it keeps running when nothing else does. Before a plugin or theme change it records what was active, then watches the next few minutes; if the site starts failing in a way it was not failing before, it puts the previous set back from inside the failing request. Alongside it, a rule: installs, switches, caching and speed settings, site-wide code and anything that changes every URL happen Monday to Friday, 9 to 5 Eastern, unless the task says otherwise.
